Babcock’s Riverside Laboratories and El Centro service center will be closed on Wednesday, January 1st, in observance of New Year’s. All locations will reopen for regular business on Thursday, January 2nd.
To ensure continued quality service when transporting and delivering temperature sensitive samples with short holding time methods, we ask you to please keep this holiday closure in mind. Samples should be submitted to the Riverside location no later than 5:00 PM Tuesday, December 31th. For the El Centro service center, all samples should be submitted by 12:00 PM, Tuesday, December 31th.
For microbiology samples submitted on Tuesday, December 31st, clients will need to provide an office and cell phone number at which they can be reached on New Years Day, Wednesday, January 1st, if their drinking water sample(s) for Microbiology results exceed the Maximum Containment Levels (MCLs). In this situation, Babcock Laboratories’ Analysts will need to make a verbal confirmation with the client. If Babcock Laboratories cannot get ahold of the client, we must notify the Office of Emergency Services.
Additionally, please place bottle orders and requests for sampling supplies well in advance to avoid delays and expedite your sample delivery experience.
