Industry Experts: Babcock Labs Presents at NEMC
This month Babcock Laboratories, a leader in the environmental testing industry, attended the National Environmental Monitoring Conference (NEMC). Both our Senior Chemist, David Schiessel, and our Corporate Communications Director, Alexandra Chrystal, gave presentations at this year’s meeting, which took place August 7th - 11th in Washington, D.C.
Leading the Way: Babcock Labs Senior Chemist to Present Innovative Method Development on PFCs
We are very pleased to announce that our Senior Chemist David Schiessel has had three presentations accepted to the National Environmental Monitoring Conference (NEMC)! Mr. Schiessel will contribute two oral presentations and one poster presentation on his innovative research and method development concerning the analysis of perfluorinated compounds (PFCs—also known as PFAS).

Year in Review: A Look Back on 2016
I think it’s safe to say that 2016 has been a rollercoaster year. As we anxiously anticipate what 2017 has in store, I would like to reflect on some of Babcock Labs’ highlights of this past year, including but not limited to: NELAP accreditation, serving on ELTAC for the California Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELAP), presentations at the 2016 National Environmental Monitoring Conference (NEMC), addressing water conservation and quality issues, corporate social responsibility efforts including STEM education, ESOP month, and more.
